On September 10th, 2021 Bishop Michael Warfel issued a Diocesan Decree on Traditionis Custodes, a Motu Proprio recently issued by Pope Francis. In Traditionis Custodes the Pope insists on a clear distinction between the Mass celebrated according to the 1962 Missale Romanum and the Novus Ordo Mass. These directives issued by Bishop Warfel are to be fully observed throughout the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings by Sunday, September 25, 2021.
