On Friday, October 29, 2021 Bishop Warfel signed the Decree Promulgating the Declaration of the Diocesan Synod on the Domestic Church in Eastern Montana. This decree is a statement that the Bishop has accepted the declaration of the synod and will begin the process of drafting his pastoral letter, addressing many of the items noted by the delegate body of the synod. This process is likely to take a number of months, with the pastoral letter set to be published prior to the 2022 Lenten Season.
