The Diocese of Great Falls–Billings seeks a mission-driven Director of Catholic Education to lead Catholic schools and parish faith formation programs across the Diocese. This role ensures excellence in Catholic identity, academic quality, and lifelong faith formation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for diocesan Catholic schools and supervise school leadership
• Oversee parish faith formation, including religious education, sacramental prep, youth ministry, and adult formation
• Ensure programs are faithful to Church teaching and aligned with diocesan priorities
• Support accreditation, curriculum, enrollment, and long-term sustainability
• Advise diocesan leadership and collaborate with pastors, clergy, and lay leaders
• Lead personnel development, strategic planning, and policy implementation

Qualifications:

• Practicing Catholic in good standing
• Master’s degree in education, theology, or related field
• 7–10+ years of leadership in Catholic education or ministry
• Strong knowledge of Church teaching and educational best practices

Position Details:

• Full-time, exempt
• Based in Great Falls, MT with travel across the Diocese
